RB Leipzig hold talks to sign Ajax talent Brian Brobbey – Bayern Munich & Borussia Dortmund interested

Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are interested in signing 19-year-old Ajax forward Brian Brobbey, according to Kicker.

Julian Nagelsmann’s RB Leipzig have already submitted an offer to agent Mino Raiola, per the report, and have been chasing Brobbey for a long time.

Brobbey has a six months remaining on his contract with Ajax and is free to move clubs in the summer. Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars has confirmed that the young attacker won’t sign a new contract: “We find it very unfortunate and have done everything to keep him at Ajax. He has decided to play football elsewhere after the summer.”

Talks have already taken place between RB Leipzig and the entourage of Brobbey, who wants to hone his skills in a different league.

The 19-year-old made his debut for Ajax this season and has scored two and created one in five Eredivisie games. Brobbey also has 45 minutes of Champions League football.
