Hertha Berlin in advanced talks to sign Milot Rashica on loan with obligation to buy

According to Sky Germany, Hertha Berlin are working on a deal to sign Milot Rashica from Werder Bremen on a six-loan with an obligation to buy before Monday’s deadline.

New Hertha Berlin sporting director Arne Friedrich and head coach Pál Dárdai are eager to add new additions to the squad with the club down in 15th despite spending over €30m on new signings in the summer window.

Werder Bremen head coach Florian Kohfeldt confirmed last week that Rashica has been the subject of interest from several clubs: “There have been loose inquiries for Milot, which are sometimes passed on to us by his agent, but we haven’t had a concrete written offer on the table to think about in recent weeks.”

The 24-year-old attacker has played just nine Bundesliga games for Werder Bremen this season after two different injuries kept the Kosovan out for nine games.

Premier League side Aston Villa had also shown interest in signing Rashica.
