Borussia Dortmund could appoint Marco Rose as head coach this month

Borussia Mönchengladbach head coach Marco Rose remains top of Borussia Dortmund’s shortlist to replace Lucien Favre after the Swiss tactician was dismissed in December.

According to Kicker, it’s been known that Borussia Dortmund bosses want to work with Rose but the question that remains is when will the appointment be made official.

Per the report, that could be this month. As imagined, the 44-year-old has so far refused to comment on the speculation that he will become Borussia Dortmund’s next head coach.

Sport Bild reported in January that Rose has a clause in his contract that will allow him to leave Gladbach for €5 million compensation fee, but that expires at the end of May.
