Werder Bremen have held preliminary talks with 31-year-old midfielder Nuri Sahin, confirms sporting director Frank Baumann.
“We had a preliminary talk about how both sides imagine the future but nothing has been decided,” Baumann told DeichStube.
The former Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool midfielder has a contract with the Bundesliga club until the end of the season. With a wish to create a younger squad, Sahin may leave the club at the end of the season.
