Jadon Sancho, Weston McKennie, Marcus Thuram and Achraf Hakimi led tributes to George Floyd over the weekend’s fixtures, of which are now being investigated by the DFB.
Sancho and Hakimi both revealed a “Justice for George Floyd” t-shirt whilst McKennie worn an armband with the message, “Justice for George.” Thuram took a knee after scoring for Borussia Mönchengladbach.
“The DFB control body will attend to this issue in the coming days and scrutinise the circumstances of the case,” said DFB control committee chairman Anton Nachreiner.
