RB Leipzig midfielder Stefan Ilsanker has revealed he’s searching for a move away from the Bundesliga club to further his chances of playing for Austria at Euro 2020.
“With regard to the European Championship, I need a lot of games, so it would be a good idea to switch. There have been some enquiries but I don’t want to say more,” Ilsanker told Salzburger Nachrichten.
Fellow Bundesliga side FC Köln have shown previous interest in signing the 30-year-old, who has played just 414 minutes of league football this season.
Ilsanker’s contract expires at the end of the season.
