Robin Gosens on the coronavirus in Italy: “The whole city it a little bit crazy. There is a lot of panic.”

Speaking in an interview with Kicker, Atalanta midfielder Robin Gosens discussed the recent coronavirus outbreak in Northern Italy and the region of Lombardy.

“The whole city is a little bit crazy. The supermarket shelves are swept empty. You notice that there is a lot of panic. When it comes to the games, we do not know whether we are playing at all or whether they are going to be closed to the public. It is also clear that it is of course right to protect the population now,” said Gosens.
