Kicker report tonight that Ralf Rangnick will not be joining AC Milan with Stefano Pioli expected to sign a contract extension.
Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis has been in contact with Rangnick numerous times in the past months regarding the role of sporting director and coach at the Italian club.
The former RB Leipzig head coach had a preference to train and manage the team but also has experience as a sporting director. The 62-year-old had been learning Italian.
