Borussia Dortmund announce that 21-year-old central-defender Leonardo Balerdi will join Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille on loan for the 2020/21 season.
“Leonardo Balerdi approached us with a transfer request. He is hoping to get more playing time in Marseille. We would like to thank him for his commitment and wish him every success for the future,” said sporting director Michael Zorc.
According to Kicker, Marseille have an option to buy Balerdi.
