Bayer Leverkusen head coach Peter Bosz has confirmed that the Bundesliga club will be unlikely to keep hold of Kai Havertz in the summer, with a host of elite European clubs chasing his signature.
“We can’t hold onto him next summer,” Bosz told Algemeen Dagblad. “It will be a transfer of over €100 million. In this business, it’s about developing talents and selling them on. With at least €100m, we’ll try to strengthen ourselves in three of four positions.”
According to Sport1, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, PSG and Barcelona are all interested in signing the 20-year-old Germany international.
Havertz has played 139 games in all competitions for Bayer Leverkusem, scoring 38 goals and assisting 30.
