Official | Noah Katterbach signs contract extension with FC Köln until 2024

FC Köln defender Noah Katterbach has signed a contract extension until 2024, the Bundesliga club have confirmed.

“Given the break in play due to Corona, it’s almost been forgotten about how good Noah has been this season. He’s a super guy and he’s one of our own,” said sporting director Horst Heldt.

“We always said that players like Noah are our future and that we want to bring even more of our talents through, who have come through the academy. Noah is an example to all for this way of doing things. It is an incredibly strong signal that he wanted to stay here.

“Noah has a huge connection to the club and the city. We felt that in our discussion from the start. Therefore, we’re over the moon that we were able to extend his deal.”

The 19-year-old made his Bundesliga debut in October 2019 and has played 13 games in all competitions, becoming an important player for Köln.
