Moussa Diaby & Edmond Tapsoba sign Bayer Leverkusen contract extensions

Bayer Leverkusen have this afternoon announced that both attacker Moussa Diaby and Edmond Tapsoba have signed contract extensions until 2025 and 2026.

“The two are not just extremely talented professionals with outstanding potential potential,” said Rudi Völler. “Despite their young age, Edmond and Moussa are already top performers and they will get even better in the years to come.”

21-year-old Diaby opened the scoring for Bayer Leverkusen in their local derby against FC Köln on Wednesday night and has become an important player for Peter Bosz, scoring 13 and creating 14 in 58 games in all competitions under the Dutchman.

Also 21, central defender Tapsoba has impressed since joining the Bundesliga side from Vitória Guimarães for €18 million in January. The Burkina Faso international has played his part in B04’s defence, playing 24 times in the Bundesliga since his move.

Bayer Leverkusen remain unbeaten in the Bundesliga and play second placed Bayern Munich on Saturday evening.
