Juventus head coach Maurizio Sarri vetoed a move for Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng in the summer, according to Christian Falk of Bild.
Negotiations took place regarding a one-year loan deal for the former Germany international whilst Bayern Munich only asked that Boateng’s salary would be paid.
The current situation is similar. According to Falk, a potential suitor this January would only have to pay Boateng’s salary.
