PSV Eindhoven will announce the signing of former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Götze, according to Eindhovens Dagblad.
The 28-year-old will sign a two-year contract with the Dutch club. According to Fabrizio Romano, Götze turned down two offers from Italy – the German had also attracted late interest from Hertha Berlin and Bayern Munich.
Götze underwent a medical with PSV on Tuesday and is expected to be announced shortly, the former BVB player told SportBild: “Yes, I’m in Eindhoven right now.”
