Union Berlin have announced the signing of 22-year-old Japan international winger Keita Endo from Yokohama F. Marinos on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
“I’m very proud to come into the Bundesliga and to be able to show my skills in one of the best leagues in the world. I’ve heard a lot of good things from the club and the city and I’m looking forward to playing at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei soon,” said Endo.
Primarily a left-winger, Endo can also operate on the right. He becomes Union’s third signing of the summer window after Sebastian Griesbeck (1. FC Heidenheim) and Niko Gießelmann (Fortuna Düsseldorf).
