Gladbach coach Marco Rose: “We’ll give Inter as good as we get.”

Speaking at today’s presser, Borussia Mönchengladbach head coach Marco Rose discussed Tuesday’s Champions League fixture vs Inter Milan with the Bundesliga side currently sitting top of Group B.

“We need to play some really good football tomorrow and we’re up against a top side who have their backs against the wall,” said Rose. “Inter know that they have to win their last two games to go through and that makes it tougher for us.

Nevertheless, we will take on the challenge full of confidence and we’ll give Inter as good as we get. We have our principles, both on and off the ball, and we will stick to them. The aim is to put in a good performance and get the necessary points.”

Rose also confirmed that Nico Elvedi picked up a minor muscle injury and will miss the game vs Inter whilst Tony Jantschke will replace the Switzerland international – other than that, Rose has a full squad to pick from.
