Germany international Luca Waldschmidt has received a five-year contract with Portuguese giants SL Benfica, who have paid Freiburg a €15 million fee for the 24-year-old.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt and Hamburg forward also has an €88m release clause inserted into his contract and has been awarded the No. 10 shirt.
