Dynamo Dresden squad placed in two-week quarantine

Dynamo Dresden have placed their entire coaching squad and players after two players tested positive for coronavirus in a second set of positive results.

Players and staff have been put into a two-week isolation period just one week after the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga are set to resume.

“In the past few weeks, we have made enormous efforts in terms of personnel and logistics in order to strictly implement all the prescribed medical and hygiene methods,” said sporting director Ralf Minge.

“We are in contact with the responsible health authority and the DFL to coordinate further steps.”

The DFL will make a decision next week on the postponed fixture against Hannover 96.
