Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos will undergo a medical at FC Nürnberg on Monday before joining the 2. Bundesliga side on loan until the end of the season, according to Bild.
Coaching staff at Arsenal remain confident in the abilities on Mavropanos and so a purchase clause will not be included in the loan deal.
Bundesliga clubs Werder Bremen and Fortuna Düsseldorf had shown interest in the Greece youth international, as have second division clubs, Stuttgart and Hannover.
