Werder Bremen will look to fuel their European ambitions next season by signing promising 22-year-old right back Álvaro Tejero, according to Deich Stube.
If a deal can be struck, the Real Madrid defender is expected to arrive as a challenger to Theodor Gebre Selassie, with the Czech international recently turning 32.
Tejero featured 34 times this season for Albacete in Spain’s Second division, scoring once and assisting 8 times.
The Spaniard isn’t expected to cost much, after featuring just once for the Real Madrid’s first team in four seasons at the Bernabeu and just one year remaining on his contract.
