Niko Kovač: “I am convinced that I will continue [at Bayern Munich].”

Speaking to Sky Germany and the written press after Bayern Munich’s seventh consecutive Bundesliga title, head coach Niko Kovač is confident he’ll be in charge of the first team next season.

“I am convinced that I will continue. I talk to my bosses and I think I have interpreted them correctly. I am working on the assumption that I will fulfil the remaining two years of my contract,” said Kovač.

Speculation around the 47-year-old has suggested that Bayern’s bosses have mixed opinions on Kovač, while reports have recently suggested that there’s a divide in the dressing room, due to his lack of attacking philosophy.
