Speaking on Bayern Munich’s ICC tour, Niko Kovač provides an update on Renato Sanches’ future.
“We told him that we would like to keep him. We have put arguments to the table and explained why he has played so little. He understood that and sees his future here. I’m convinced that he’ll get more game time in this season than last season.
“Renato staying doesn’t mean we don’t need players. Renato does not play on the 6, he is more like an 8, or a 10. We need a good squad with quality. If we see a need of more quality in midfield, we will go for it.”
