Mauricio Pochettino a prime target for Bayern Munich job

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is Bayern Munich’s prime target for the vacant managerial role at the Bundesliga champions, according to The Athletic.

A source told the outlet: “Pochettino would be the preferred solution. If he and Spurs end up splitting, which looks likely, Bayern will do anything to get him.”

Interim coach Hansi Flick is likely to continue in his role until the end of the season after winning both his games against Olympiacos and Borussia Dortmund.

Thomas Tuchel (PSG), Erik ten Hag (Ajax) and Ralf Rangnick (Red Bull) have all being heavily linked in recent days as well as former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who had been approached but is no longer in the running, according to the Frenchman.
