Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic has casted potential doubt on his future in the Bundesliga, admitting that his playing style may perhaps be suited to another league.
Speaking to Welt am Sonntag, he said: “After my experience in the Europa League, I would say that some other leagues in Europe are more suited to me & my way of playing football. The Bundesliga is very demanding but after the games against Chelsea and Inter Milan, I personally had the feeling that I could feel even better in the Premier League or Serie A. The way the teams play fits better with me.
“I’m looking forward to seeing my level compared to the best players in the world & one thing is clear: I want to succeed in my career.”
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past week, with both the Spanish club and Eintracht Frankfurt yet to agree a fee.
