RP Online are reporting that Borussia Mönchengladbach are interested in signing RB Salzburg and Austria international midfielder Xaver Schlager this summer.
There could be some substance to this given RB Salzburg head coach Marco Rose will be coaching the Bundesliga club next season while Salzburger Nachrichten have named a trio that could be leaving the Austrian club this summer, naming Schlager, who has a reported €12m release clause, as one of them.
