Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola recently revealed that winger Leroy Sané has refused to sign a new deal at the club for the past 18 months, the Evening Standard reports.
Sané, who currently finds himself out of favour at Man City, has been the subject of recent transfer speculation over his future at the club.
In Friday’s press conference, Guardiola told the media: “(Leroy) we are one and a half years trying to sign his contract…We want him. If you want to extend his contract, it’s because you want him.”
There are no indications as of yet that Sané is agitating for a move with two years remaining on his current City deal.
