Joshua Kimmich on Pep Guardiola: “I would not be against him coming back.”

Bayern Munich haven’t ruled out a return for former head coach Pep Guardiola, leading to Joshua Kimmich explaining his admiration for the Spaniard.

“I don’t know how realistic it is and what Bayern’s plans with Hansi Flick are,” said Kimmich. “I know Pep. I owe him a lot. He got me as a second division player and played me in the Bundesliga, I owe him a lot. I would not be against him coming back.”

During Guardiola’s time as Bayern Munich head coach between 2013-2016, Kimmich played 36 games in all competitions.
