Fortuna Düsseldorf identify quartet as potential transfers

Fortuna Düsseldorf are closing in on the signings of Oussama Haddadi and Jeffrey Bruma as they look for defensive reinforcements, according to Gianluca di Marzio.

Haddadi featured for Tunisia in the World Cup in the summer and is reported to be departing Ligue 1 side Dijon for the German outfit on a permanent deal. Dutchman Jeffrey Bruma is believed to be swapping Wolfsburg for Dusseldorf on a loan-to-buy deal.

Poland and Sampdoria striker Dawid Kownacki has been identified as the solution to German sides goalscoring problems, with the club one of the lowest scorers in the Bundesliga this season. A loan-to-buy deal is set to be agreed between Sampodria and Fortuna but Empoli are keen to hijack any potential deal.

However, Friedhelm Funkel & Co. seem to have Facundo Ferreyra at the top of their wish-list with the Benfica striker reportedly the clubs main target. Though French side Nice are said to be interested in signing the 27-year-old to replace Mario Balotelli who looks set to leave.
