Niko Kovač has confirmed Bayern Munich’s interest in Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi during a press conference in Doha – where the side are currently training during the winter break.
Kovač revealed (via Bild): “He’s the same year as Jadon Sancho, who was very successful. That we all know and watch these players is completely normal. But whether we will sign such player, you have to ask Brazzo.”
The Bayern manager did not disclose if a bid has yet been made with that not being his responsibility, instead sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic’s duty.
Sky reported that Chelsea are holding out for £30 million for the 18-year-old, with Juventus and RB Leipzig both reportedly showing interest alongside Bayern.
