Borussia Mönchengladbach monitor Guingamp forward Marcus Thuram

Borussia Mönchengladbach could make a move for highly rated Guingamp forward Marcus Thuram, according to Sportbild.

The 21-year-old is the son of legendary French defender Lilliam Thuram and has been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs in recent months.

Sportbild’s report suggests that a fee of around €8 million could be enough to secure Thuram’s signature, who has also been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund recently.

The French youth international has netted 13 times in all competitions for Guingamp this season, mainly featuring on the left wing or as the sides loan striker.
