Bayern Munich in no rush to name new head coach

Interim coach Hansi Flick will remain Bayern Munich head coach for the foreseeable future with the Bundesliga club in no rush to name a permanent replacement given Flick’s start.

“We are totally satisfied with Hansi,” Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Bild. “Not only because we’re winning, the quality of football it the decisive factor. Everything he has done so far is exactly what we wanted.

“Hansi has a clear game plan, the players know exactly what they have to do.”

Bayern Munich’s Champions League game at Red Star Belgrade will be Flick’s fourth game in charge following the dismissal of Niko Kovac.
