Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was left out of the Borussia Dortmund squad against Wolfsburg on Sunday for ‘disciplinary reasons’ after it emerged the Gabon international had missed a team meeting, according to Bild.
Following the 0-0 draw against Wolfsburg, Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc expressed his concerns surrounding Aubameyang to reporters: “At some point you can’t tolerate it [a lack of discipline] anymore. I don’t know what’s going on inside his head. We had a very contentious discussion today. We’re not used to this behaviour from him. It can’t go on like this. I don’t know what is going through his mind. I don’t recognise him anymore.”
