Borussia Mönchengladbach have extended the contract of head coach Dieter Hecking by a further year until 2020, the club confirmed on Friday morning.
The former VfL Wolfsburg coach has enjoyed an impressive start to the 2018/19 Bundesliga campaign with Gladbach who find themselves second in the table, behind leaders Borussia Dortmund.
“I have been at Borussia for almost two years now and can say that I feel comfortable here. The calmest in which we have agreed on this contract extension also testifies the great trust between the club and me,” says Hecking.
