With the transfer of Leon Goretzka to Bayern Munich looking more likely with each passing day, Schalke are close to signing Nantes midfielder Amine Harit, per Ouest-France.
Schalke’s sporting director Christian Heidel has already gone on record saying the 20-year-old is an interesting player, whilst the French outlet suggest that Harit will sign a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2021.
The fee should be around €8-9 million, whilst it’s expected to be completed in the coming days.
