1. FSV Mainz 05 have completed the loan signing of Bojan Krkic from Premier League side Stoke City, until the end of the season.
At this moment in time, it’s unsure as to whether their is a purchase clause in the loan agreement, should Mainz want to buy him.
“Bojan is a player with an outstanding career path who wants to fully commit himself to the upcoming six months with us in the Bundesliga. The sporting and economic conditions were good enough to excite him and win him over. Bojan will fill the current gap we have in our attack in his own way. We’re happy about the quality he brings to our squad,” said sporting director Rouven Schröder.
Martin Schmidt added: “In Bojan we’ve acquired a player who is dangerous in front of goal and creative. I’m looking forward to the challenge of integrating him into the team over the coming months.”
Bojan said: “For me it’s an honour that Mainz have given me this opportunity to prove myself at club in another top European league. I’m looking forward to seeing the team as well as the fans and being able to help the Zerofivers on the pitch.”
