Alexander Ring will join New York City, subject to a medical check, report Kicker.
The 25-year-old’s contract will expire in the summer, but Die Rheinpfalz report that he will join NYCFC before then, should he pass his check.
Ring joined 1. FC Kaiserslautern from HJK Helskini in 2013, and his since gone on to feature 83 times in all competitions.
