Official | Aleksander Isak joins Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Aleksander Isak from AIK on a long-term deal, the club confirmed on Monday.

“Alexander Isak is a hugely-talented striker, who many top clubs in Europe wanted to sign. We are delighted that he has chosen Borussia Dortmund. Both BVB and the player himself are convinced that this transfer has great potential,” said sporting director Michael Zorc.

Isak has scored 13 goals in 29 appearances for AIK, which includes 10 in the league last season. The 17-year-old is also Sweden’s youngest ever goalscorer, after netting in their win over Slovakia.

Whilst both parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transfer fee, Transfermarkt.de report this to be around €8.6 million, after Isak himself earned 10% of the fee, according to Daniel Kristofferson.
