Alexander Isak will join Borussia Dortmund for €10 million

Aleksander Isak has completed his move to Borussia Dortmund after signing the contract and completing a medical check, according to Swedish outlet Aftonbladet. All that we await is official confirmation from the two parties.

The Sweden international, his family and agent were all in Dortmund on Sunday to finalise the deal, as confirmed by multiple sources.

Isak will join the Bundesliga club for €10 million.

Kicker reported on Saturday evening that the move was to go ahead, after Thomas Tuchel told reports he could neither “confirm or deny it”, with a grin on his face.

Bild reporter Moritz Leihkamm then broke that himself and representatives were in Germany to complete the move, which is expected to cost €10 million.

Sporting director Michael Zorc also arrived at the club before lunchtime to finalise the deal.

Isak has scored 10 league goals in 24 appearances during the 2017 Swedish season, whilst he also became Sweden’s youngest ever goalscorer when he found the net against Slovakia.
