After spending the winter linked with a potential move to Liverpool, Christian Pulisic has extended his contract at Borussia Dortmund until 2020.
“We are very happy to have secured the long-term commitment of another extraordinarily talented player. Christian already enjoys a high standing within the team and can become a cornerstone of our sporting future,” said sporting director Michael Zorc.
I still have a lot to learn. I feel Dortmund offers the best conditions to do that. I have the chance to play in front of over 80,000 fans. We have the best supporters in the world – it does not get any better than that!,” explained Pulisic.
Making his Dortmund debut at the age of 17, Pulisic has since gone on to play 31 times under Thomas Tuchel, scoring four goals and assisting six.
Pulisic has also produced on the international stage, scoring three goals in 11 games for the United States.
