Bayern Munich want to make Kingsley Coman’s move permanent

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that he would like to make Kingsley Coman’s two-year loan from Juventus a permanent one, despite spending most of this season on the sidelines.

“At the moment we have a tendency to meet the option. We will have our time to decide this. In principal, we are completely convinced of the player. But we also have to state that last season was better than this season, whereas he had some injury problems [this season],” Rummenigge told Bild.

Coman has played just six Bundesliga fixtures under Carlo Ancelotti this season, where he has failed to find the net. During his debut season, the Frenchman scored four league goals, providing six assists in the process.

A star in the making, Coman needs to prove his fitness before Bayern Munich decide on his future.
