After Jos Luhukay’s sudden resignation from the manager’s post with just four games into the new season, VfB Stuttgart are striving to find a new manager.
The club are in talks with former FC Schalke 04 manager Markus Gisdol, whom they consider as a top target, according to BILD.
The 47 year old was most recently in charge of Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim but was sacked in April 2015 after the club’s poor run of form.
Andre Breitenreiter, Mirko Slomka and Thomas Schaaf are also reportedly said to be in the running for the vacant managerial post at the 2. Bundesliga side.
