Uli Hoeneß to announce comeback to Bayern Munich

Former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeneß is expected to announce his comeback to the club before the Super Cup against Borussia Dortmund on 14th August, according to Abendzeitung München.

The 64-year-old was released from prison in February after being found guilty of seven serious counts of tax evasion, amounting to €28.5 million, in March 2014.

Although initially sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison which began in June 2014, the 1974 World Cup winner was released from prison on suspension after serving half of that term on 29th February.
