Raphaël Guerreiro spoke to press on the reasoning behind his move to Borussia Dortmund after talks soon progressed following the initial contact.
The young Portuguese international can’t wait to get started in the Bundesliga, whilst he looks to learn from teammate Marcel Schmelzer.
“I decided to join Borussia Dortmund relatively quickly throughout the talks I held with the club. I talked to the coach about different ways to utlise me. I want to give my best. A lot of great players are playing for Borussia Dortmund – just like for Portugal. I can learn a lot from them. The team received me very well. Teammates talk a lot to me in French and English. And I’m learning German.”
