After long and arduous negotiations with Valencia came to fruition, Arsenal announced the signing via their official Twitter account. 24-year-old Mustafi has 12 caps for Germany and scored his first goal for his country during this summer’s Euro 2016 competition in France.
Manager Arsene Wenger told the official Arsenal website: “He is at the right age. He has good experience. He is a very focused player who can play with the ball as well. We have taken a great player but have prepared well for the future.”
