Speaking at a press conference this afternoon, Mats Hummels reflected on his move to Bayern and the upcoming curtain-raiser against former club Borussia Dortmund.
Hummels believes he will settle well at the club and looks forward to the Supercup next Sunday.
“I’ve known a lot of people around here for a number of years. A lot of my friends live in Munich too. I can speak only for myself but I think [the Supercup] will be a special game. [The move] was a long and tough process. The decision gave me headaches for weeks. FC Bayern are one of the world’s best sides. This was the decisive factor.”
