Liverpool have entered the race to sign Shkodran Mustafi from Valencia, according to Spanish radio station Cadena SER.
The radio station further claimed that Liverpool have started negotiations with Valencia director Garcia Pitarch over a possible move for Mustafi and are willing to offer winger Luis Alberto as a makeweight in the deal.
Valencia director Garcia Pitarch had revealed earlier in the day that the club need to sell some of it’s players in order to comply with Financial Fairplay regulations.
