Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the club will offer a new contract to Serge Gnabry once he is back from the Olympics.
Gnabry has shone for the German football team competing in Rio Olympics 2016 and Wenger has confirmed that Arsenal will offer the former VfB Stuttgart player a new long term contract.
“I want to keep Serge Gnabry and extend his contract,” Wenger told a pre-conference.
“I think we stood by him. He went to West Brom on loan, didn’t play, and we had to rebuild his confidence.
“I allowed him to go to the Olympics to help Germany. I think he’s here now for a long time.”
