Sport1 are today reporting that Borussia Mönchengladbach want Chelsea youngster Andreas Christensen on a permanent transfer. He would, however, cost the Germans a club record fee of €20m.
The Dane has impressed thus far in his two-year loan spell and the club believe that, with their 3-1 win in last night’s Champions League qualifier, Christensen could be tempted to stay in Germany.
Gladbach’s director of football Max Eberl told Sport1: “We want Andreas to firmly commit [to Gladbach]”.
