Liverpool have had a bid of €29m rejected for Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud, according to The Sun.
The club have allegedly been told by Gladbach not to even bother coming back with a bid this summer, however Liverpool may play the waiting game until next summer.
Gladbach are keen to hold on to the German in this window after selling Granit Xhaka to Arsenal, but the 20-year-old will enter the final year of his deal in 2017 which could see his value plummet.
