Bayer Leverkusen to profit from Milik’s Napoli move

Bayer Leverkusen have received 16% of the transfer fee paid to Ajax by Napoli for the services of Arkadiusz Milik, according to German publication Kicker.

Milik only permanently joined the Eredivisie runners-up last summer following a successful loan spell, consequently appearing only eight times for Leverkusen.

The details of the transfer fee are yet to be released, but Kicker claim that it could be up to €35million, which would see Leverkusen earn over €5million as a result.

Milik also spent a year on loan at Augsburg during his time in Germany.
